Terms of Service

Pocket Register is a personal finance app for iOS and the web. By using it you're agreeing to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

You sign in with Apple. You're responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure. If you suspect someone else has accessed your account, sign in and use Settings → Delete account, then contact Apple to investigate your Apple ID.

Pocket Register is a manual finance tracker — a digital register. You enter your own transactions. We don't read your bank, broker, or credit card statements, and we don't transmit money on your behalf.

Pocket Register is not financial advice, accounting software, or a tax product. The numbers it shows (payday plan, debt payoff estimates, category totals) are based only on what you've entered. Always cross-check against your actual bank statements before making real-world decisions.

You own the data you enter. We do our best to keep it safe (see our Privacy Policy), but you should keep your own backups of anything you can't afford to lose. The iOS app supports iCloud sync as a backup mechanism.

Pocket Register Pro is sold through the iOS App Store. Apple handles payment, renewal, and refunds. Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad. Web access is included with any active iOS Pro subscription as well as free accounts.

Don't try to break the service, abuse other users, scrape data you don't own, or reverse-engineer the service to circumvent access controls. We can suspend accounts that do.

Pocket Register is provided "as is." We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the numbers you see will perfectly match your bank's records. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past twelve months (which for free users is zero).

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms or present a security risk. On termination, your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top and notify you in-app where appropriate before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
